Blizzard announces the next release of new content for World of Warcraft Classic

Blizzard has given players what they’ve been waiting for with the announcement of the next release of new content for World of Warcraft: Classic. The update will include Blackwing Lair, Darkmoon Faire, and more. Much like it did with vanilla WoW, Blizzard will be gradually announcing more content for Classic, as it was released in its base state. Blizzard is likely to roll out new content in more or less the same order as they did for vanilla back in the day to maintain the “Classic” authenticity, and so that it can progress as it should.

The PvE half of Phase 3 will be primarily known for the addition of Blackwing Lair. Nefarion is one of the most popular World of Warcraft raid bosses of all time and his return in World of Warcraft Classic is certain to be met with excitement. Phase 3 has more than Blackwing Lair, though. Signs of the Darkmoon Faire will start appearing in-game on February 7, with the full festival beginning February 10. Players can then begin collecting Darkmoon Cards to complete their powerful Darkmoon Decks and legendary trinkets. If you need buy wow classic gold, you can visit our site

In order to access the raid, you'll need to get the Blackwing Lair attunement by completing the "Blackhand's Command" quest, which has just gone live. The quest requires you to be level 55 and can be unlocked by getting the item from defeating the Scarshield Quartermaster at the Blackrock Spire in Blackrock Mountain. You'll need to head to the Upper Blackrock Spire and activate Drakkisath's Brand near the boss, General Drakkisath. Once completed you'll be able to use the Orb of Command, which can be found down the hall to the right, to teleport to Blackwing Lair.

The other big news is the arrival of the Darkmoon Faire, which is a world event offering games, loot, and more – including the much sought-after Darkmoon Decks. The Faire will set up in Mulgore and Elwyn Forest, with the festivities opening on February 10.

Meanwhile, Blizzard have also introduced level 50 class quests, which offer a choice of powerful rare items when completed, while various faction vendors will now offer the reputation rewards that were introduced in vanilla WoW’s patches 1.6 and 1.7. Duke Hydraxis will also now offer Eternal Quintessence to players who have completed “Hands of the Enemy” and reached Revered status with Hydraxian Waterlords.
