If you’ve played an EA Sports title in recent years, you likely know exactly what Ultimate Team mode is. Being what EA Sports calls their most popular game mode, there was no doubt it would return this year once again. This year’s entry continues to prove why FIFA has the best Ultimate Team in their entire line of games. As always, you start with a group of lowly ranked players to build your roster with. However, now you get a major loan at the beginning to help jump-start your team. In my case, I had the option to take 92 overall rated Christiano Ronaldo for only two games, or a few other players that ranged in the 70s for 12, 14, or 20 games depending on the player. Chemistry is very important in your roster depending on a variety of factors, even including whether players near each other on the field are from the same country. These factors add a ton of depth and strategy to Ultimate Team mode to the point where it can quickly become very addicting to try and put the best product out there on the field.

Then there is the massively popular FUT which is the trading card game of old integrated with the actual ability to play the game and compete against others. It’s massively addictive for some but is not something I have ever really been that into. The Ultimate Team Edition includes bonuses including 40 Gold Fifa Ultimate Team packs that’ll really give you the edge when building your Ultimate Team. Each pack will feature players, stadiums, celebrations and more, and gold packs ensure that you’ll unlock much more rare items in your quest to put together the best team on the pitch.



Don’t think that improvements to tackling results in fewer scoring chances. In the line with the changes to a team’s overall AI approach, individual players are being tweaked to allow them to more intelligently find space and time their runs to match the flow of play. Therefore, while it’s more difficult to take on an entire team’s defence by yourself, passing your way through the lines is more a valid option than ever. Such improvements apply to each of the game’s players, not just the attackers; helping you pass the ball out of defence during potentially dangerous moments, or allowing you to opt for a calmer, slower possession-based game.

There are two types of currency within FIFA Ultimate Team--Coins and FIFA points. They are shown on the upper left of most Ultimate Team menus. Coins are earned through playing games or selling cards via the Transfer Market. These coins can be spent on packs or cards on the Transfer Market. In other words, you want coins. Lots and lots of coins. Good, sweet, nectar of Ultimate Team life. FIFA Points are purchased through the PS Store or Microsoft Marketplace with real money. These can only be used to purchase packs from the in-game store. Also, while these points can be used to purchase packs via the Web App and FIFA 15 Companion, they cannot be purchased there. They can only be purchased on the console. You don't want to use real money unless you're rich or... well, that's it. Unless you're rich.

For Xbox One, PS4, and PC, this is the third title update. Among the new content are new authentic player faces for the promoted Barclays Premier League tames Leicester City, Burnley, and Queens park Rangers. New kits and badges for the two new MLS teams Orlando City and New York City have also been added to the FIFA Ultimate Team. Apart from the update, a FIFA 15 Holiday Edition bundle appeared on the Xbox One store and it's already for sale. The Holiday Edition includes the full game, 2200 FIFA points to redeem for 15 Ultimate Team packs, a Lionel Messi loan player for five games, and a handful of EA Sports Football Club items. The bundle is priced at $60 USD, and expires Jan. 19, 2015. As of now, it's only appearing in digital form for Xbox One. According to the graphic, FIFA 15 increase the US soccer fandom year by year. The update will make this game more enjoyable and increase the impact on soccer in real life.
