The action in fifa 16 is slower and more deliberate

If you are a fan of computer football gaming, then FIFA games must be very familiar to you. According to users from around the world, FIFA is the best simulated football game to appear for the gamers. The game is updated every year with enhanced graphics, extra features, new and updated player features, teams and kits. Te popularity of this game is huge and it is released around the world in various formats. The game of FIFA can be played in pc, Xbox and PlayStation format. The latest inclusion in the game series is the brand new FIFA 16 for which the fans have been waiting eagerly.

One truly intriguing new feature that has already grabbed some buzz is the addition of 12 women's national teams into the mix, as emphasized in EA's presentation with a virtual representation of Team USA superstar Alex Morgan, signature headband and all. EA went all-in for the women's team, complete with motion capture sessions, and have actually been looking into adding the women's teams for years, according to developers at the presentation. Soccer has long been called the "beautiful game," and Electronic Arts has taken it upon itself to try and master the digital canvas upon where its vision of the beautiful game is represented. Year after year of its FIFA series has brought more flowing glances of detail to satisfy the needs of both hardcore futbol fans and neophytes.

More generally, the latest evolution of EA’s long running series has slowed down the pace a little and curbed the excesses of star players. Against the AI at least, it is no longer possible to wrest control of the ball in your own half and then slalom past opposition players en route to a long-range goal. The defenders post a sterner challenge than last year and overall, the developers have tried to make midfield battles far more integral to the outcome of matches. FIFA 16 boasts all of the usual modes you have become accustomed to and I won’t have to spend a lot of time explaining the modes to you but I will tell you what is new. In this year’s game you will see an improved career mode with more depth and options such as training and for the first time ever, you can play with women’s National Teams including the USA and Germany.

The 12 national women's sides offered might be a little stingy in number, but it’s a start and at least an effort has been made to ensure their matches feel different from the men's game. The action in fifa 16 is slower and more deliberate. Slightly more languid turning circles mean dribbling in tight spaces is difficult, encouraging a more robust style of passing. I found the altered pace refreshing. No Touch Dribbling. Dynamic Crossing. Clinical Finishing. Confidence In Defending. Interception Intelligence. Good lord does EA love a capitalized buzz phrase. Unfortunately, most of this year's supposedly new on-pitch features translate into diddly squat when you're looking for tangible, easily felt improvements over FIFA 15.

Thunder in a goal from distance and the way the ball hits the net coupled with the player celebrations, the crowd reaction and the commentary feels just right. Martin Tyler and Alan Smith are on the mics once again and you won’t be surprised to hear the look of the game, especially the menus and layout, is so slick and well oiled. Ultimate Team has been tweaked and updated and continues its dominance having replaced Pro Evo’s Master League (more on PES’ latest effort soon) as the feature everyone seems to love.

Even then, you’re limited to six individual drills aimed only at improving the attributes of players. As it stands, training is a great addition to gameplay, but if team training is added in, and if each player in your team had a chemistry rating in manager mode, wouldn’t that make coaching a real possibility for a mode that’s still hugely popular? It’s not there right now, but it’s only a small step from the current design, and I’d love for EA Canada to take it to the next level.
